The License enables EMTS provide Fixed Telephony (wired or wireless), Digital Mobile Services, International Gateway Services and National\/Regional Long Distance Services in addition to spectrum assignments in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Manager, Data Centre M &amp; E<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all network operations and maintenance activities of the data centre, including capacity monitoring and supervision of all network element installations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Functions\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure AC DC power and cooling availability target 99.8% in Data Centres \/MGW sites<\/li>\n<li>Ensure DC power and cooling availability target 100% in Data Centres \/MGW sites<\/li>\n<li>Ensure strict compliance of change request execution, oversee all routine and corrective maintenance for power and cooling systems, spare parts management and inventory, space management, equipment records and performance data.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all operation \/ implementation activities in the Data Centres are executed in a professional manner and incompliance with the approved changes.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and control network element capacity utilisation and always ensure that utilisation level does not exceed industry standard.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports on capacity constraints to the relevant units for possible equipment upgrade.<\/li>\n<li>Support the network quality assurance team in regular monitoring, tracking and reporting of discrepancies in network elements and reporting same to the relevant stake holders.<\/li>\n<li>Keep an updated list and layout of all nodes installed in the data centre indicating clearly their details \/specifications, near and far end connectivity<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all installed equipment in the data centre is maintained in accordance with the outlined maintenance schedules and procedures and keep comprehensive maintenance history of all equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain effective relationships with switch implementation vendors as well as coordinate maintenance activities between the vendors and internal stakeholders in terms of planning, scheduling and database management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with the organization&#8217;s quality policy on all core network O&amp; M and identify areas where the quality policy needs improvement for escalation to the quality assurance unit for appropriate action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out other tasks as directed by the Head, Field Operation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Six (6) to Eight (8) years work experience with at least three (3) in a supervisory role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience,Skills &amp; E<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Abuja,NG<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor the data centre power and cooling infrastructure, space\/power allocation and equipment (DGs, UPS, HVAC, rectifiers and power controls).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Functions\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise and maintain power and cooling equipment at Data Centre, IT rooms and all other equipment: (AC \/ DC system, Fire suppression system, HVAC and other passive infrastructure)<\/li>\n<li>Implement all preventive and corrective maintenance activities.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor all power and cooling consumption and capacity utilization<\/li>\n<li>Supervise new installations in the data centre according to power budget and design specification.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure data centre power and floor spaceis optimised and manage BMS at the data centre<\/li>\n<li>Update technical documentation, drawings and operational logs pertaining to equipment and maintenance activities.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor diesel levels \/ consumption and ensure refills as and when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Update utility power utilization and records of all M and E equipment in the data centre.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with maintenance contractors and vendors, and prepare monthly reports on their activities for manager, M &amp; E Data Centre&#8217;s attention.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct and supervise and record, hourly and daily routine \/ physical inspection of all network element \/ nodes to ascertain their functionality at the DC \/ MGW<\/li>\n<li>Identify SPOF and communicate to your line manager for immediate attention and resolution<\/li>\n<li>Carry out routine audit and facilitate risk assessment of DC, MGW and BSC sites.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties a directed by Manager, M &amp;
