The company is currently undergoing a major transformation programme towards achieving service excellence, business expansion, profitability and improved shareholder value. The company now seeks a highly experienced Chief Finance Officer who has the ability to provide strong and credible financial leadership.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>As Chief Finance Officer, the incumbent will:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide financial leadership and stewardship<\/li>\n<li>Develop a strategic framework for effective financial management and \u00a0 \u00a0responsibility accounting<\/li>\n<li>Lead the conversion to, and implementation of, the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)<\/li>\n<li>Deliver financial models and scenarios to support strategic decisions<\/li>\n<li>Implement effective financial strategies to guide and support business operations<\/li>\n<li>Develop, implement and manage the short, medium and long term strategies in line with the company\u2019s vision and mission<\/li>\n<li>Implement directives from the Board and the Finance Committee, ensuring conformity with corporate accounting policies and principles<\/li>\n<li>Review and report on finance and business performance of business units, departments and revenue centres.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively support business development initiatives to improve profitability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>A Chartered Accountant, possibly a fellow with a leading professional body<\/li>\n<li>Deep knowledge of IFRS<\/li>\n<li>Masters level degrees in Accountancy, Finance, Economics or an MBA will be an added advantages<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in financial leadership, with at least 5 year in senior management<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills, business strategy articulation and performance analysis skills<\/li>\n<li>A transformational leader, with excellent business acumen, and a team leader with a strong flair for relationship management<\/li>\n<li>IT literacy with strong presentation and communication skills and using Microsoft Office for financial modeling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Closing date: 28\/02\/2012.<\/div>\n<div>First Interviews 15\/03\/2012, Second Interviews 30\/03\/2012, Final Interviews tbc.
