{"id":126543,"date":"2021-01-14T07:38:43","date_gmt":"2021-01-14T06:38:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=126543"},"modified":"2021-01-13T23:41:39","modified_gmt":"2021-01-13T22:41:39","slug":"ascentech-services-limited-current-job-opportunity-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/ascentech-services-limited-current-job-opportunity-3.html","title":{"rendered":"Ascentech Services Limited Current Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ascentech Services Limited &#8211; Our client, a leading ISP (Internet Service Provider)\u00a0 is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: FTTH &#8211; OSP Engineer <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Installation of FTTH Home internet services in residential\/business premises.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in field survey, fibre laying plan, ducting, trenching, blowing fiber, Splicing of Fiber.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in fibre optic tools: OTDR, Optical Power meter, Optical Laser source and testing etc.<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in handling multi-vendor equipment for hardware installation and troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<li>Audit of outsourced work to meet applicable technical and operational quality standards.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct routine checks of all tools to ensure safety and accuracy of measurement<\/li>\n<li>Experience in providing Technical support for planning of fiber allocation, duct design (PVC) &amp; Route design<\/li>\n<li>Acceptance testing of optical, civil, outdoor network.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for FTTx network construction in the defined boundary within project timeline.<\/li>\n<li>Technical auditing and overseeing the contractor for the flawless construction of fibre infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for route analysis of underground fibre construction.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible to attending the customer complains.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible to manage fibre splicing and approve installed fibre as par as build plan and test results.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible to comply with Health &amp; Safety standards.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for maintenances and Up-keep all records of underground fibers infrastructure, fibre splicing plan, passive splitter terminations and access equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for service restoration during emergency conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate\/Diploma in Electronics &amp; Communications or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Experience: 1 &#8211; 3 Years<\/li>\n<li>Understanding in GPON fiber optic network and service deployment.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding in active FTTH equipment (OLT, ONT) and Passive FTTH splitter.<\/li>\n<li>Certification in Fiber Technology is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of VLAN and IP\u2019s and IP network structure.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of Design &amp; Implementation process in FTTX.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of fault and performance management process.<\/li>\n<li>Computer proficiency in MS Office (MS word, MS Excel, MS Power Point)<\/li>\n<li>In depth understanding of outside plant, cable sizing, cable record etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good negotiation and decision-making skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent execution, organizing and people skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong commitment to quality and performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To apply\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should forward their CV to:<strong><a href=\"mailto:cv@ascentech.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cv@ascentech.com.ng<\/a><\/strong> using the \u201cJob Title\u201d as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>31st January, 2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ascentech Services Limited &#8211; Our client, a leading ISP (Internet Service Provider)\u00a0 is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below: &nbsp; &nbsp; Job Title: FTTH &#8211; OSP&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[24],"tags":[2891],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
