We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accountant <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Abule Egba, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information<\/li>\n<li>Document financial transactions by entering account information<\/li>\n<li>Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options<\/li>\n<li>Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports<\/li>\n<li>Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information<\/li>\n<li>Secure financial information by completing database backups<\/li>\n<li>Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions<\/li>\n<li>Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results<\/li>\n<li>Analyze financial information and summarise financial status<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support and advice on management<\/li>\n<li>Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process<\/li>\n<li>Provide input into department&#8217;s goal setting process<\/li>\n<li>Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule<\/li>\n<li>Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance<\/li>\n<li>Plan, assign and review staff&#8217;s work<\/li>\n<li>Support month-end and year-end close process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have at least 3 to 4 years working experience<\/li>\n<li>Must have a degree in Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Must have ICAN, ACCA and any other accounting certification.<\/li>\n<li>Must have an Oil and Gas working experince.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send a copy of their CV to:<strong> <a href=\"mailto:hr@ama-zumagroup.com\">hr@ama-zumagroup.com<\/a> <\/strong>using the job title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>24th January, 2021<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ama-Zuma Group was established on the basis integrity and commitment to excellence.
