You will report directly to the Technological Manager and assist with all functions of software coding and design.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure success as a Junior Software Developer, you should have a good working knowledge of basic programming languages, the ability to learn new technology quickly, and the ability to work in a team environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting the Development Manager with all aspects of software design and coding.<\/li>\n<li>Attending and contributing to company development meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Learning the codebase and improving your coding skills.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with other developers and engineers to design, build, and maintain applications<\/li>\n<li>Writing and maintaining code.<\/li>\n<li>Working on minor bug fixes.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems.<\/li>\n<li>Responding to requests from the development team.<\/li>\n<li>Gathering information from consumers about program functionality.<\/li>\n<li>Writing reports.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting development tests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science.<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; 5 years work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of basic coding languages including C++, PHP, and Python.<\/li>\n<li>Basic programming experience.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of databases and operating systems.<\/li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@kjk.africa\"><strong>careers@kjk.africa<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using &#8220;Junior Software Developer&#8221; as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>25th January, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KJK Africa is a software design and development company based in Lagos.
