{"id":130236,"date":"2021-01-22T11:42:07","date_gmt":"2021-01-22T10:42:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=130236"},"modified":"2021-01-22T11:42:07","modified_gmt":"2021-01-22T10:42:07","slug":"carter-tech-development-limited-recent-job-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/carter-tech-development-limited-recent-job-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"Carter Tech Development Limited Recent Job Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Carter Tech Development Limited is a building and construction company and we are currently looking to recruit a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Corporate Lawyer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ologolo Road, Lekki, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We require the service of a Legal Manager to serve as an in-house counsel and handle all complex legal matters.<\/li>\n<li>The preferred candidate must have experience in a similar industry and ensure the legality of commercial transactions and advise the company on legal rights and duties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of legal documents and contracts<\/li>\n<li>Managing the delivery of legal advice and services to the business<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating of acquisition documents including options; contracts for sale and development agreements, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating construction contracts<\/li>\n<li>Assisting the embedded network business<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing of sales contracts and marketing material<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with internal and external groups around taxation, FIRS, insurance and other regulatory matters<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in managing internal precedents and legal knowledge updates and training<\/li>\n<li>Working with the external legal panel for the delivery of services<\/li>\n<li>Other related duties as assigned by management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a current practising certificate<\/li>\n<li>Approximately 4 years\u2019 post-call experience, either within private practice or in the public sector (including court associateships)<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in property development obtained in either law firm or in-house environments<\/li>\n<li>Experience with joint venture and project finance transactions will be considered advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of development-related disputes and litigation will be desirable<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>High developed commercial acumen<\/li>\n<li>Advanced organisational skills and diplomacy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Cover Letter to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:admin@carter-techng.com\">admin@carter-techng.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>7th February, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carter Tech Development Limited is a building and construction company and we are currently looking to recruit a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below: &nbsp; &nbsp; Job Title:&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[41],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
