We maintain an excellent and world-class hospitality standard to our guests.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below for our subsidiary company that produces livestock on farms i.e animal production, dairy or crop production:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Farm Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Locations:\u00a0<\/strong>Osun and Oyo<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Farm Managers responsibilities will be to appreciate the need to satisfy set regulations for safe, high-quality produce Farmed in an environmentally sustainable manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keeping financial records up to date.<\/li>\n<li>Providing bed and breakfast or holiday lets;<\/li>\n<li>Field sports and off-roading;<\/li>\n<li>Practical activities, e.g. driving tractors, operating machinery, feeding livestock, spraying fields, etc;<\/li>\n<li>Marketing the farm&#8217;s products;<\/li>\n<li>Buying supplies, such as fertiliser and seeds;<\/li>\n<li>Arranging the maintenance and repair of farm buildings, machinery and equipment;<\/li>\n<li>Farm shops selling the farm&#8217;s own and other locally sourced produce;<\/li>\n<li>Creating fishing lakes;<\/li>\n<li>Horse trials, livery stables and riding schools;<\/li>\n<li>Worm farming;<\/li>\n<li>Processing their own products, e.g. vegetables or cold pressed oils.<\/li>\n<li>Planning activities for trainee staff, mentoring and monitoring them;<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining and monitoring the quality of yield, whether livestock or crops;<\/li>\n<li>Planning finances and production to maintain farm progress against budget parameters;<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that farm activities comply with government regulations;<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring animal health and welfare, including liaising with vets;<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining knowledge of pests and diseases and an understanding of how they spread and how to treat them;<\/li>\n<li>Applying health and safety standards across the farm estate;<\/li>\n<li>Protecting the environment and maintaining biodiversity;<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the implications of the weather and making contingency plans;<\/li>\n<li>Making sure that products are ready for deadlines, such as auctions and markets;<\/li>\n<li>Wind power generation;<\/li>\n<li>Speciality herds, such as llamas and alpacas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>He\/She must possess a minimum qualification of B.Sc \/ HND in any related discipline and MUST have worked as a Farm Manager in a previous organization and willing to work both in Oyo &amp; Osun state<\/li>\n<li>A Master&#8217;s Degree would be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>He\/she should have a minimum working experience of 2-8 years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Cover Letter (PDF) to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:vacancies@laimhotels.com\"><strong>vacancies@laimhotels.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadlinee: <\/strong>9th February, 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Laim Hotel &#8211; We are a 5 STAR hotel that constantly anticipates our guest&#8217;s expectations by offering superior services, with exceptional facilities and innovations that consistently exceed these expectations.
