{"id":136144,"date":"2021-01-29T08:30:24","date_gmt":"2021-01-29T07:30:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=136144"},"modified":"2021-01-28T21:02:47","modified_gmt":"2021-01-28T20:02:47","slug":"african-industries-available-job-vacancy-apply-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/african-industries-available-job-vacancy-apply-now.html","title":{"rendered":"African Industries Available Job Vacancy &#8211; Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>African Industries is a diverse group focused on development of steel industry in Nigeria using international technology and quality comparable to international standards in the manufacture of Iron rod, Angle, billets, wire rod, nails, BRC mesh and other steel profiles with over giving employment to around 8,000 local Nigerians directly and indirectly guided by a strong work force of trained managers who have decades of experience on steel industries abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The Group currently operates in eight different locations within Nigeria, and exports its products mainly to other West African nations.We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Excavator Operator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Tasks:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and positioning plant for operation on site.<\/li>\n<li>Operate the machine and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.<\/li>\n<li>Selecting, fitting and removing attachments such as buckets, scoops, shovel blades, rock breaking hammers, winches and blades.<\/li>\n<li>Work with ground personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Operating controls to excavate, break, drill, level, compact, gouge out, move, load and spread earth, rock, rubble, soil and other materials.<\/li>\n<li>Working from drawings, markers and verbal instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Servicing, lubricating, cleaning and refuelling plant and performing minor adjustments and repairs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Typically, 3 to 5 years\u2019 experience within the construction industry.<\/li>\n<li>2 to 3 years\u2019 experience operating an Excavator<\/li>\n<li>Full Drivers Licence<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Excavator and other heavy equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent hand, eye and foot coordination<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Must be living with Ikorodu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary: <\/strong>N67,000 \/ month.<\/p>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:afl.hr@africanindustries.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>afl.hr@africanindustries.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Position as the subject of the email<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>1st February, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>African Industries is a diverse group focused on development of steel industry in Nigeria using international technology and quality comparable to international standards in the manufacture of Iron rod, Angle,&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[2882],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>African Industries Available Job Vacancy - Apply Now!
