{"id":13927,"date":"2012-05-02T06:38:54","date_gmt":"2012-05-02T05:38:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=13927"},"modified":"2016-11-10T12:36:32","modified_gmt":"2016-11-10T11:36:32","slug":"in-flight-services-food-development-controller-at-air-nigeria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/in-flight-services-food-development-controller-at-air-nigeria.html","title":{"rendered":"In-Flight Services Food Development Controller at Air Nigeria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Air Nigeria<\/strong>\u00a0invites applications from qualified candidates to fill the position of In-Flight Services Food Development Controller.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: In-Flight Services Food Development Controller<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Job ID: AIR NIGERIA\/IS\/FDC\/0412<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\nReports To: Manager, in-flight Catering Services<br \/>\nFunction: Commercial<br \/>\nSub Function: Customer Services<\/p>\n<p><strong>Working Relationships:<\/strong>\u00a0Internal: Cabin Services, Marketing, Product Development, Procurement and Customer Relations.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nResponsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nTo develop and detail the complete in-flight food and beverage product and related services to provide our customers in all classes with the highest quality product within the defined.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiate, detail and implement the Global Food and Beverage Strategy in line with changing business requirements, anticipated market trends and customer preferences annually.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously analyse all passengers and crew feedback together with specific research findings related to the total food and beverage product and service across the network.<\/li>\n<li>Generate an annual report and make recommendations to the In-flight Services Manager for future food and beverage product for Air Nigeria and also on the food safety and hygiene with all 3rd parties catering contractors.<\/li>\n<li>Identify any possible need to issue warnings or notice to suppliers in accordance with contract terms and conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Dvelopment process, ensuring costs, operational and environmental issues are considered and full detailed product specifications produced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Experience:<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A university degree or its equivalent in Food Technology\/Hospitality Management or any related Subject.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years industry experience in related role and in supervising\/ managing people.<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive understanding of food safety\/ hygiene practices, Food and beverages management in hospitality services as well as product development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The following skills are essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent Communication and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform in a stressful environment with multiple tasks and critical decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in managing budgets<\/li>\n<li>Effective Time Management, Planning and Organisational skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n10th May, 2012<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method of Application<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested candidates whose skills and capabilities match the job profile should send their CV with the subject: \u201cIn-flight Services Food Development Controller AIR NIGERIA\/IS\/FDC\/0412\u201d to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@myairnigeria.com\"><strong>careers@myairnigeria.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Air Nigeria\u00a0invites applications from qualified candidates to fill the position of In-Flight Services Food Development Controller.
