As part of their requirements for the current expansion programs, they are looking out for vibrant, energetic and intelligent senior finance leaders that have the potential to grow within the organization and eventually take on further leadership roles. To succeed the candidate will need to display history of extraordinary achievements and results.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.)\u00a0 General Manager Supply Chain Finance &#8211; Ref: 001<\/p>\n<p>The Successful Candidate will be required to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide all required financial support to the Manufacturing SBU and particularly the Managing Director in terms of financial leadership and guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the monthly and yearly profit performance is tracked and that the status is explained to the management teams on a continuous basis<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that proper spending controls are in place and that the unit is aware of the actual spending vs latest commitments<\/li>\n<li>Manage the overall costing process and ensure that the standard costs for current and new products reflect the true picture and proactively reconcile and communicate changes<\/li>\n<li>Assess the impact on standard costs of raw material and other cost increases and ensure that these impacts are understood throughout the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all investment and sourcing proposals are fully analyzed with the financial impact being understood and the returns optimized.<\/li>\n<li>Pro-actively seek ways to further drive the profitability of the SBU. via margin improvement initiatives and other tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The right candidate must possess:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ICAN, ACA or ACCA qualification<\/li>\n<li>At least 10 years post NYSC experience in an FMCG outfit<\/li>\n<li>Strong costing and stock accounting experience<\/li>\n<li>Very strong factory accounting and supply chain experience. the ideal candidate would have been finance responsible for a multi site manufacturing structure<\/li>\n<li>It is very important that the applicant shows an alignment to the company\u2019s values (Courage, accountability, Networking, drive and oneness) plus a track record of very strong intellectual capabilities<\/li>\n<li>Critical to this position is interpersonal skills and effective communication both verbal and written strong system knowledge of ERP and financial modelling tools. MFG pro and Hyperion experience would be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2.)\u00a0 Financial Controller &#8211; Ref: 002<\/p>\n<p>The Successful Candidate will be required to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide financial leadership to the business, oversee the controls, budgets and act as an interface with accounting<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely submission of budget and forecast to the group.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the company&#8217;s assets are safe-guarded by working closely with internal audit to ensure that appropriate levels of controls are in place and addressed.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure financial targets are met and drive the business planning process<\/li>\n<li>Conduct balance sheet reconciliation reviews to highlight any profit risks and opportunities, on a monthly basis.<\/li>\n<li>Drive category margins through SKU profitability assessments and reports.<\/li>\n<li>Drive the weekly financial reporting process and effective overhead controls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe right candidate must possess:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ICAN ACA or ACCA qualification.<\/li>\n<li>At least 10 years post NYSC experience in an FMCG outfit.<\/li>\n<li>Must have demonstrated experience in financial accounting, budget preparation as well as systems developments and financial controls.<\/li>\n<li>Manufacturing and costing experience.<\/li>\n<li>Critical to this position is interpersonal skills and effective communication both verbal and written.<\/li>\n<li>Strong system knowledge of ERP and financial modeling tools.
