The candidate will directly report to the Team Lead HLS.<\/p>\n<p>Department: Network group<\/p>\n<p>Location: Lagos Nigeria<\/p>\n<p>Employment status: permanent<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc. Electrical\/Electronics (Telecommunications) and a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in scripting and programming in Telecommunications\/IT environment. SUN certification is desirable.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"More...\" src=\"https:\/\/nigeriajoblist.com\/wp-includes\/js\/tinymce\/plugins\/wordpress\/img\/trans.gif\" alt=\"\" \/>Job Description:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Integration of all new network elements into OSS<\/li>\n<li>Keeping system logs and performing backups for the OSS<\/li>\n<li>Perform the necessary changes in systems set-up in OSS<\/li>\n<li>Perform software update on the OSS<\/li>\n<li>Carry out preventive\/routine maintenance on OSS<\/li>\n<li>Investigating and identifying reasons for abnormal network conditions  related to OSS<\/li>\n<li>Performing corrective actions to faults on the OSS platforms<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring the status and performance of the network elements interfacing  with the OSS platforms<\/li>\n<li>Maintain databases where standard data on OSS is kept<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain tools, applications and scripts to increase the  effectiveness of the OSS platforms<\/li>\n<li>Provide back-end and front-end support to OSS users<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This vacancy expires on 8\/9\/2009<\/p>\n<p>Apply directly through MTN website<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MTN, Africa&#8217;s leading telecommunication network is recruiting for OSS Engineer.
