{"id":143759,"date":"2021-02-18T10:00:06","date_gmt":"2021-02-18T09:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=143759"},"modified":"2021-02-19T21:45:56","modified_gmt":"2021-02-19T20:45:56","slug":"non-governmental-orgnaization-recent-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/non-governmental-orgnaization-recent-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"A Non-governmental Orgnaization Recent Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An NGO focused on Women, Youths and Entrepreneurship, seeks to employ the services of the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Programme Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Enugu<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Programme Officer will play a significant role in the overall growth of the programme by:<\/li>\n<li>Developing project proposals that engage existing and potential donors, in collaboration with team members.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating key programme strategies, results, for project monitoring and analysis of the programme environment, and advice on timely readjustments of such strategies and activities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining close communication with stakeholders and liaise with government and civil society counterparts.<\/li>\n<li>Organizing and participating in advocacy meetings, roundtable discussions, training workshops and other meetings related to the NGO&#8217;s programme.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying new areas of support and facilitate implementation of new initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual project performance reviews for the management and key stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Participating in the donor progress report writing, continuation application and presentation.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the development and execution of all projects as well as quarterly and annual events.<\/li>\n<li>Representing the programme in forums at field level and as the primary interface with all programme participants.<\/li>\n<li>Actively track and follow-up the impact of the work on the lives of its key beneficiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the continued training and development of volunteers within the network<\/li>\n<li>Other duties, as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B. Sc. or HND in Social sciences\/Development studies or related discipline<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a programme coordination role; nonprofit experience is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of proposal writing and budget development is desired<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skill Set:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong project management skills<\/li>\n<li>A high degree of integrity, and preparedness to keep stakeholders informed<\/li>\n<li>Ability to draft and deliver timely, quality evaluation reports.<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal communication and writing skills<\/li>\n<li>A high level of maturity, and ability to work well independently, with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English required;
