We are committed to forging long-term partnerships with our clients by creating and delivering robust and flexible services that address the changing needs of their business.We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Kitchen Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Victoria Island, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders<\/li>\n<li>Supervise food prep and cooking<\/li>\n<li>Check food plating and temperature<\/li>\n<li>Establish portion sizes<\/li>\n<li>Schedule kitchen staff shifts<\/li>\n<li>Price menu items in collaboration with the Restaurant Operations Manager<\/li>\n<li>Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed<\/li>\n<li>Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques<\/li>\n<li>Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)<\/li>\n<li>Keep weekly and monthly cost reports<\/li>\n<li>Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND \/ B.Sc degree<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 Years\u2019 experience as a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef in a Restaurant<\/li>\n<li>Good Knowledge of cooking.<\/li>\n<li>Can manage a team of Expat and Indian Chefs and helpers in kitchen.<\/li>\n<li>Can run all the kitchen operations smoothly.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of a wide range of recipes<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Conflict management abilities<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment<\/li>\n<li>Certification from a culinary school or degree in Restaurant Management is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>20th March, 2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:cv@ascentech.com.ng\">cv@ascentech.com.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the &#8220;Job Title&#8221; as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ascentech Services Limited is a full-fledged Human Resource Solution Provider incorporated in 2013 with its Head Office in Lagos, Nigeria.
