{"id":144532,"date":"2021-03-09T09:10:28","date_gmt":"2021-03-09T08:10:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=144532"},"modified":"2021-03-09T08:38:30","modified_gmt":"2021-03-09T07:38:30","slug":"cvm-career-company-available-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/cvm-career-company-available-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"The CVM Career Company Available Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CVM Career Company, a career services company is currently looking to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lekki, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and analyze complex financial records and reports to ensure the business is running efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the reduction of company financial waste and increasing profits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs monthly and annual financial closes including account analysis, reconciliations and adjustments.<\/li>\n<li>Analyses financial statements for discrepancies and suggests ways to improve efficiency and spending.<\/li>\n<li>Establish cost standards for material, inventory and labour and update as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Compares and reports standard costs to actual production costs and analyses productions costs to recommend changes.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares documentation for External Auditors, and assists with tax audits and tax returns.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate daily accounting activities and journal entries in the ledger, reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining \/ reviewing cost prices on the system &amp; analysing the impact on margins<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring stock movements, and reconciling inventory accounts to the general ledger<\/li>\n<li>Participates in various accounting projects and assists in ad-hoc tasks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>HND \/ Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting \/ Finance.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 2-3 years of related experience<\/li>\n<li>Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles &amp; Cost Accounting Standards<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>Must have strong numeric ability.<\/li>\n<li>Proximity to the location will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary: <\/strong>N70,000 monthly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/jobkitten.com\/apply\/the-cvm-career-company\/accountant-7f6c1319-036e-4e6e-ab3c-13d517edb576\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>12th March, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The CVM Career Company, a career services company is currently looking to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Job Title: Accountant Location:\u00a0Lekki, Lagos&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[3],"tags":[3094],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
