Our client is recruiting suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Hotel Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Ikeja, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Industry:<\/strong> Hotel (Hospitality)<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our client is in need of an experienced Accountant that will oversee the hotel budgets, staff payroll, and overall finances<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all accounting transactions<\/li>\n<li>Prepare budget forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Publish financial statements in time<\/li>\n<li>Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile accounts payable and receivable<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely bank payments<\/li>\n<li>Compute taxes and prepare tax returns<\/li>\n<li>Manage balance sheets and profit\/loss statements<\/li>\n<li>Report on the company\u2019s financial health and liquidity<\/li>\n<li>Audit financial transactions and documents<\/li>\n<li>Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Comply with financial policies and regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND \/ B.Sc. degree in Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 8 years\u2019 experience as an Accountant in the Hotel space<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software<\/li>\n<li>Should have basic MIS knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Experience with MS Office<\/li>\n<li>Experience with general ledger functions<\/li>\n<li>In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of accounting regulations<\/li>\n<li>Excellent math skills with attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Time-management abilities<\/li>\n<li>Confidentiality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should kindly send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:cv@ascentech.com.ng\">cv@ascentech.com.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0with the &#8220;Job title&#8221;
