Ideal candidate will handle the three subjects, prepare and give lesson and ensure excellent performance of students in subject areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To assist in the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of\u00b7 learning, marking policies and teaching strategies in the Curriculum area.<\/li>\n<li>To plan and prepare courses and lessons.<\/li>\n<li>To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher\/ Form Tutor.<\/li>\n<li>To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.<\/li>\n<li>To use a variety of delivery methods which will stimulate learning appropriate to student needs and demands of the syllabus.<\/li>\n<li>To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.<\/li>\n<li>To use and develop the application of I.C.T. in your curriculum area.<\/li>\n<li>To take part in the school\u2019s staff development programme by participating in arrangements for further training and professional development.<\/li>\n<li>To track student progress and use information to inform teaching and learning.<\/li>\n<li>To communicate effectively with the parents of students as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Where appropriate, to communicate and co-operate with persons or bodies outside the school.<\/li>\n<li>To follow agreed policies for communications in the school.<\/li>\n<li>To share and support the school\u2019s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.<\/li>\n<li>To contribute to the whole school\u2019s planning activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirement \/ Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s of Education Degree in Geography \/ related course or BSc. plus PDGE<\/li>\n<li>Masters in Education will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>TRCN certification<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years experience as a Social Studies\/Geography Teacher in an international school<\/li>\n<li>IGCSE \/ CIE experience<\/li>\n<li>Confident and competent user of ICT<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to assess student work accurately and precisely using criteria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV in PDF to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:leadingschoolvacancy@gmail.com\">leadingschoolvacancy@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using &#8220;Job title&#8221;
