White Soul Motors Limited is enriched with track record of 19 years operational license.We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Chief Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are hiring for the position of a Chief Accountant to lead our accounting unit, providing financial advice to the management and ensuring the efficiency of the company&#8217;s accounting unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing the work and development of staff members;<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining accurate books, records and schedules of all accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of periodic financials reports<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate finance and accounts functions across locations;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare for and review annual audit work papers and ensure adjustments journals are passed to agree company\u2019s\u00a0 books and records with the audited financial statements;<\/li>\n<li>Work with internal and external auditors during field work exercise and in the preparation of annual audited financial statements.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly review of bank reconciliations, loan schedules, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Manage all intercompany transactions and ensure reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>Managing all finance and accounting operations<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;<\/li>\n<li>Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;<\/li>\n<li>Continuously update, review and document the Company\u2019s financial policies and procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or related fields from a reputable university \/ polytechnic.<\/li>\n<li>Additional qualification will be added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Up to 5 years overall combined accounting and finance experience,<\/li>\n<li>Membership of a recognized Accounting Professional body.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSA) Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good working knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles; practices, accounts payable and receivable management, financial management and financial reporting;<\/li>\n<li>Proven working experience as Head of Finance &amp; Accounts;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in preparing accurate and thorough Financial Reports and related schedule in line with established deadlines;<\/li>\n<li>Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end\/year end close process<\/li>\n<li>Effective oral and written communications, interpersonal and planning skills;<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of computer applications and Microsoft Office \u2013 Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point and Financial Application;<\/li>\n<li>Good organizational skill and ability to manage documentations and make past and future documentations accessible;<\/li>\n<li>Strong management skills with a demonstrated ability to take initiative;<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, processes and procedures necessary to produce deliverables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@whitesoulgroup.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recruitment@whitesoulgroup.org<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the maill.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>15th April, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>White Soul Motors Limited is a subsidiary of White Soul Investment Limited, a company incorporated under the Company and Allied Matters Act, 1997.
