We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lekki, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information<\/li>\n<li>Document financial transactions by entering account information<\/li>\n<li>Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options<\/li>\n<li>Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports<\/li>\n<li>Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information<\/li>\n<li>Secure financial information by completing database backups<\/li>\n<li>Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions<\/li>\n<li>Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results<\/li>\n<li>Analyze financial information and summarise the financial status<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support and advice on management<\/li>\n<li>Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process<\/li>\n<li>Provide input into the department&#8217;s goal-setting process<\/li>\n<li>Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule<\/li>\n<li>Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance<\/li>\n<li>Plan, assign and review staff&#8217;s work<\/li>\n<li>Support month-end and year-end close process<\/li>\n<li>Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with clients<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with Manager and\/or Director on work status and client issues that arise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of business trends<\/li>\n<li>Experience with creating financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end \/ year-end close process<\/li>\n<li>Excellent accounting software user and administration skills<\/li>\n<li>Accuracy and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate understanding of accounting and reporting standards, gaining experience in researching as it relates to accounting issues<\/li>\n<li>Must be Female<\/li>\n<li>Must be a resident in Lagos and on the island<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0N80,000 &#8211; N100,000 Naira\u00a0monthly.<\/p>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV with e-mail subject as &#8220;Accountant&#8221; to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@strugz.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>info@strugz.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>18th May, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>STRUGZ is a Public Relations, Legal, Management and Training Consulting Firm, with a passion to transform minds in a dynamic way that helps its clients find a rhythm and maximize&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[3],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>STRUGZ Ongoing Job Recruitment - Apply Now!
