It is also planning to organize an international arts and cultural festival in January 2013.<br \/>\nIn line with this development, the organisation seeks suitable and qualified candidates for the following work positions:<br \/>\n<strong>Administrative Positions<\/strong><br \/>\nDirector of Public Relations<br \/>\nDirector of Special Events<br \/>\nFacility Manager<br \/>\nLegal Secretary<br \/>\nMedical Secretary<br \/>\nAccountant\/Budget Manager<br \/>\nTravel Coordinator<br \/>\nSponsorships Coordinator\/Promotions Assistant<br \/>\nAdministrative Assistant<br \/>\nReceptionist<br \/>\n<strong>Education and Experience for Administrative Positions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree\/Higher Diploma from a recognized tertiary institution, and at least one-year related experience and\/or training.<\/li>\n<li>Proven expertise in dealing with senior leadership in support role and with all levels of personnel in courteous and efficient manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Abilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good computer skills [MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.]<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with external contacts or employees of Arts Alliance Africa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Creative\/Theatrical Positions<\/strong><br \/>\nTechnical Director<br \/>\nArtistic Director<br \/>\nDirector of Production<br \/>\nProduction Manager<br \/>\nStage Manager<br \/>\nCostume Director<br \/>\nPlaywright<br \/>\nScenic Designer<br \/>\nLighting Designer<br \/>\nCostume Designer<br \/>\nSound Designer<br \/>\nMaster Carpenter<br \/>\nMaster Electrician<br \/>\n<strong>Education and Experience for Creative\/Theatrical Positions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a Bachelor\u2019s Degree\/Higher National Diploma in the Arts or Social Sciences from a recognized university\/polytechnic.<\/li>\n<li>Academic and professional qualifications within theatre, dramaturgy, arts administration, or related field of study are highly preferable.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must also possess extensive experience as an artist and in managing a theatre or performing arts group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Abilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Cooperative management ability<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with performers, external contacts or employees of Arts Alliance Africa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Submission:<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you think you match our job description, send us an email, attaching a copy of your recent resume and an application letter in MS Word format.
