We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Incubation Manager, PAULESI<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ibadan, Oyo<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Contract<\/p>\n<p><strong>Company Description:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Pan-African University (PAU) was established with the aim to contribute to sustainable development in Africa and to prepare \u201ca new generation of change makers properly trained to take the best advantage of African human and material resources, imbued with the common vision of a peaceful, prosperous and integrated Africa. This also includes the creation of \u201csolutions and innovations to the challenges identified in Agenda 2063 by development-oriented research\u201d PAULESI incubation centre of Excellence will give students and researchers a platform to develop their skills and competencies whilst putting their theoretical knowledge into practice to create sustainable business solutions towards a better country and by extension, the continent at large.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><br \/>\nStrategy Development and Execution:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and execute strategy for attracting and selecting deserving and qualified PAUSTI student-led innovative startups.<\/li>\n<li>Design and manage incubation programs.<\/li>\n<li>Provide startup support advisory to entrepreneurs through continued strategic guidance in areas such as business modelling, market analysis, financing, fundraising, overall strategy, operations etc.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, execute and own an operational and engagement strategy for the entire community including startups, investors, corporates, mentors, advisors, and domain experts.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a community development strategy to include and guide the implementation of all community development activities such as meetups, design challenges, hackathons etc.<\/li>\n<li>Create a robust curriculum for the entrepreneurship education programs for the students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Stakeholder Engagement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the day-to-day interaction with the incubating startups<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to entrepreneurs across ideation, acceleration, investment and scale-up stages.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure tight management of milestones and progress of entrepreneurs and start-up companies.<\/li>\n<li>Be the switchboard for entrepreneurs to access relevant resources and connections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educational Qualifications: Graduation (background in IT\/Computer Science\/Finance\/Commerce is preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3+ experience working in startups or with an incubator\/accelerator is a bonus.<\/li>\n<li>Overall understanding of the digital technology and product landscape<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to proactively cultivate, build and maintain strong working relationships with start-ups, entrepreneurs and other necessary stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to speak in front of an audience as and when deemed necessary<\/li>\n<li>Experience of running multi-functional teams.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent skills in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Execution skill set &#8211; including a focus on data-driven decision making, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to drive rapid \u201clearn &amp; implement\u201d iterations.<\/li>\n<li>Empathy &#8211; using skills that allow the Engagement Specialist to determine what is most important to their target audience, and then working to deliver on an organizational promise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.smartrecruiters.com\/Co-creationHub\/743999745714562-incubation-manager-paulesi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pan-African University (PAU) was established with the aim to contribute to sustainable development in Africa and to prepare \u201ca new generation of change makers properly trained to take the&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>The Pan-African University (PAU) Recent Job Vacancy - Apply Now!
