We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Security Officer<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja (FCT)<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Contract<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Security Officer patrols, monitors, and observes security procedures to ensure a safe Guest and Member experience while investigating a theft and managing instances of undesirable behaviour.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat will I be doing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a Security Officer, you are responsible for monitoring and controlling staff entrances, patrolling on a regular basis, and managing undesirable behaviour to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience.<\/li>\n<li>A Security Officer will also be required to investigate theft and support evacuation procedures. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and control staff entrances<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular searches of bags, etc. carried by members of staff and report discrepancies or violations immediately<\/li>\n<li>Control the Goods pass out procedure for any items purchased, loaned, or otherwise legitimately obtained<\/li>\n<li>Maintain system that monitors contractors working in the hotel in accordance with company health and safety policies<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for checking goods received out of hours<\/li>\n<li>Maintain system that records the issue and receipt of departmental keys<\/li>\n<li>Operate, check and monitor the CCTV system<\/li>\n<li>Patrol the hotel on a regular basis ensuring fire walks take place and are recorded<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safe passage of cash transfers within the hotel<\/li>\n<li>Support evacuation of the hotel during fire alarm situations<\/li>\n<li>Monitor suspicious packages and be aware of bomb and terror threat procedures<\/li>\n<li>Provide secure storage for guest oversized items<\/li>\n<li>Ensure hotel facilities and function rooms remain secure and locked when not in use<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the Security Log Book and Incident Reports<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and report all allegations of theft, criminal damage and other incidents<\/li>\n<li>Manage undesirable behaviour in a professional manner, intervening and defusing potential altercations<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Police in the absence of Security Team Leader<\/li>\n<li>Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat are we looking for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Security Officer serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
