We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: IT PMO Lead<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Roles:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for building and leading the IT PMO (Project Management Office) to the highest governance standards in line with the organization\u2019s strategic focus.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing project management staff and providing guidance on PMO processes and policies.<\/li>\n<li>Managing the day-to-day activities of the PMO.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Functions and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the implementation and management of program and project governance frameworks and development of appropriate reporting tools which deliver value.<\/li>\n<li>Review programs and projects for deliverability including adequate resourcing,<\/li>\n<li>Ensures all governance reporting is accurate and timely, with appropriate updates on project timeframes, budget, scope, and benefits.<\/li>\n<li>Strong stakeholder management skills<\/li>\n<li>Provide metrics to evaluate project managers and other related staff on their projects.<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight on project resourcing.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in all IT Planning and policy development efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the resolution of any issues encountered.<\/li>\n<li>Oversees the production of periodic project reports for senior management.<\/li>\n<li>Provide supportive leadership, motivating and directing staff as they work.<\/li>\n<li>Influence internal stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes, including process improvement, of the PMO.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Head, Program Delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10 &#8211; 12 years&#8217; working experience as a project manager, preferably in a financial institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Certification(s):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant professional qualifications and master\u2019s degree will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills\/Competence:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience as a PMO manager or other managerial position<\/li>\n<li>Thorough understanding of project\/program management techniques and methods<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of the financial services industry and the need for periodically embarking on IT enabled business change projects.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of contract management, budget, and cost management<\/li>\n<li>Risk management experience in project management<\/li>\n<li>Sound understanding of change management practices.<\/li>\n<li>Adequate knowledge of package implementation of integrated systems<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge and use of project management methodologies and its implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of Agile methodology.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organization and coordination skills<\/li>\n<li>High level of accountability<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good Leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Detail Oriented with problem-solving.<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Good oral &amp; written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong resource management experience.<\/li>\n<li>Good mentorship skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.accessbankplc.com\/pages\/Careers\/Opportunities-(1)\/IT-PMO-Lead.aspx#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Access Bank Plc is a financial institution with presence in 9 countries in Africa and the United Kingdom and in all major cities in Nigeria.
