We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Frontend Developer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job ID:<\/strong> 146190WD<\/p>\n<p>Service: Internal Firm Services<br \/>\nSpecialism: IFS &#8211; Network Management<br \/>\nLine of Service: Internal Firm Services<br \/>\nManagement Level: Associate<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Front &#8211; End Developer intern will work on AI &#8211; related projects in an Agile software development team, collaborating with data scientists, a scrum master, and product owners, gaining hands &#8211; on experience that enhances their learning and marketability.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The following is expected of the selected candidate:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive the creation of prototypes leveraging artificial intelligence and assist with the design of related cognitive modules<\/li>\n<li>Specifically, the Front &#8211; End Developer will build upon wireframes and concepts created by a UX Designer leveraging technologies such as Angular 2 or\u00a0Javascript<\/li>\n<li>Produce, modify, and maintain web application user interfaces<\/li>\n<li>Work with Data Scientists in back &#8211; end design, collaborating on APIs, data structure, and data integration<\/li>\n<li>Maintain software workflow, versioning, and testing during development and address any bugs<\/li>\n<li>Document all code according to common development best practices and create technical documentation of project work to facilitate knowledge sharing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A portfolio of prior work demonstrating command of best practices and front &#8211; end design principles is required for consideration<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the angular framework, modern JavaScript and related frameworks is highly beneficial.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience in the following is a plus:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Python<\/li>\n<li>Responsive design and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap<\/li>\n<li>A code versioning tool such as GitHub<\/li>\n<li>Cloud computing and storage services<\/li>\n<li>Containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes<\/li>\n<li>Agile teams or collaborating with UI \/ UX designers and data scientists is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><br \/>\nWho we are looking for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science or related field is essential<\/li>\n<li>Hands on experience with latest JavaScript (ES) standards and JS technologies, libraries and frameworks, such as ReactJS, Angular, Node.js, Express<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Design, HTML APIs<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Git (forking, branching, merging)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of frontend testing \u2013 Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, Jest, writing unit tests<\/li>\n<li>Experience working as a member of a software development team, e.g. participating in planning sessions and interpreting user stories, doing code reviews, pair programming<\/li>\n<li>Ability to think creatively to design \/ build applications that meet business process and application requirements<\/li>\n<li>Proficient and development experience in JavaScript libraries and frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a global collaborative team environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work as a team player<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Travel Requirement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Up to 20%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwc.co.za\/en\/careers\/regional-job-search\/description.html?wdjobreqid=146190WD&amp;wdcountry=NGA&amp;jobtitle=Frontend%20Developer&amp;wdjobsite=Global_Experienced_Careers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>31st May, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PricewaterhouseCooper (PwC) Nigeria has been operating in Nigeria since 1953 through its predecessor firms of Coopers &amp; Lybrand and Price Waterhouse.
