We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: State Office Admin and Resource Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Kano, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Pay band:<\/strong> 4<br \/>\n<strong>Contract type:<\/strong> Fixed Term- up till 31 July 2022<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> ESS<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To oversee the resources function in the EU state Programme offices in line with the programme strategy, implementation plan and financial plan and to client and corporate standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The post-holder be Accountable for ensuring that the state office resources\/administrative functions support the operations of the state for the EU programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Handle arrangements for all incoming visitors to the state office including transport and accommodation arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the running of the logistical arrangements for all workshops, events and meetings<\/li>\n<li>All workshop logistical arrangements are in line with agreed standards.<\/li>\n<li>Procurement of workshop items are in line with procurement policy.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain appropriate filing system, accountable stationary register and asset register (in liaison with the Facilities &amp; Procurement Manager) so that all contracts, reports and correspondence are filed properly and all stationery and equipment is recorded correctly.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with all outside contractors and service suppliers concerning all services\/utilities supplied to the state office<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the state office meets all the British Council\u2019s standards around Health, Safety and Security.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out basic finance duties as required in the state office in line with British Council policy.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the maintenance of regional office IT infrastructures liaising with the IT and Web Support Officer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe successful candidate will need to possess the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Diploma level education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Role specific knowledge and experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience of working on programme logistics for an international organization.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working as part of a successful team\/function.<\/li>\n<li>i yea Experience working with SAP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evidence of continuous professional development<\/li>\n<li>Experience of operating in a complex, multi-cultural context.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of managing fleet of vehicles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Role holder must have existing rights to live and work in the country the role is based.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary: <\/strong>N5,431,443 per annum.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/careers.britishcouncil.org\/job\/Kano-State-Office-Admin-and-Resource-Assistant-Kano-Sub\/679501201\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>6th June, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>A connected and trusted UK in a more connected and trusted world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The British Council is the UK\u2019s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities.
