They provide General Pediatric Services, Medical and Surgical Outpatient Consultations and specialized services for Adults. They are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Nursing Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ikoyi, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> The Lead Nurse<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The selected candidate will be responsible for the delivery of basic nursing care to patients. She will be responsible for ensuring uniformity in the delivery of professional and efficient nursing services to all patients, whilst upholding global standards enforced by management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare patients for physical examinations, observations, urinalysis, procedures, treatment and pre-employment screenings.<\/li>\n<li>Orchestrate various procedures such as wound dressing, incision and draining, injection administration, vaccinations, ear piercing, ear syringing, pap smear collection, urine sample collection, high vaginal swap and suture removal.<\/li>\n<li>Administer patients\u2019 health checklist(s).<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients\u2019 medical history, vital signs conducted procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients\u2019 conditions while under observation.<\/li>\n<li>Engage patients for obtaining data on their circumstances in relation to diets and lifestyle for Doctors\u2019 information.<\/li>\n<li>Identify accurately potential health risks confronting the patient for Doctors\u2019 information.<\/li>\n<li>Assist Doctors\u2019 in suturing procedures and to set up lines for patients under observation.<\/li>\n<li>Observe admitted patients while ensuring frequent checks of vital signs as required by standard nursing practice and administering medications to patients in line with Doctor\u2019s prescription.<\/li>\n<li>Distribute as required, issued medical brochures and relevant medical information to ensure patients are well informed about topics such as childbirth, disease prevention and sexual health.<\/li>\n<li>Co-operatively work with colleagues to maintain a professional learning culture.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments before and after use.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver patient files to the senior nursing officer, especially for patients to be taken under observation.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibly work in all units within the department and\/or clinic such as screening section, wellness clinic, specialist clinics, travel clinic, general practice, documentation and pharmacy.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the accounts team in order to receive funding for supplies needed.<\/li>\n<li>Raise requisition for required consumables<\/li>\n<li>Other tasks as may be assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Nursing with additional qualification or any other relevant training.<\/li>\n<li>Must have a Registered Midwifery (RM) Qualification.<\/li>\n<li>4 &#8211; 6 years post NYSC \/ qualification experience covering different aspects of nursing, especially immunization and family planning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Competencies and Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good documentation ability to prepare high quality summaries and reports<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate (previous experience in use of electronic medical record system or willing ness to learn)<\/li>\n<li>Diligent and hardworking<\/li>\n<li>Detail oriented and ability to multitask<\/li>\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good team player with proven organizational and administrative skills<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate ability to exercise discretion.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates a positive disposition to learning and willing to take on tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to demonstrate good stress management<\/li>\n<li>An uncompromising focus on excellent service delivery<\/li>\n<li>Should be pleasant, patient and honest.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send a cover letter and CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@anadach.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recruitment@anadach.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using their names and the job title as the subject of the mal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>1st July, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only short listed applicants will be contacted.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates will be assessed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anadach Consulting Limited &#8211; Our client is a growing facility in Lagos that places strong emphasis on the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care.
