MdM operating in Nigeria, Borno state since October 2016. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Medical Supervisor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Maiduguri, Borno<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Supervisor:<\/strong> Health Program Manager<br \/>\n<strong>Line Reports:<\/strong> Clinic Staff<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nUnder the supervision of the health Program Manager, the Medical Supervisor will be responsible for the following main activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise the day-to-day activities of one of MDMs field clinics<\/li>\n<li>Act as a focal point for the clinic in the field<\/li>\n<li>Providing technical and operational support to mobile clinic staff and\/or OTP staff<\/li>\n<li>Management and leadership of Clinic team<\/li>\n<li>Collection and analysis of health &amp; pharmaceutical data<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the development of coherent project implementation strategy<\/li>\n<li>Reporting and attendance to different meetings<\/li>\n<li>Manage Community Health Workers<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with medical trainers to ensure the delivery of quality SRH, CMAM, PHC services to the target population.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Tasks Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing technical support to mobile clinic staff<\/li>\n<li>Train MC staff on medical protocols including hygiene protocols<\/li>\n<li>Ensure use and respect of medical protocols through observation and supervision of medical and paramedics staff<\/li>\n<li>Implement regular on-the-job trainings and supportive supervision according to a weekly\/monthly schedule<\/li>\n<li>Train and supervise CHW working in mobile clinic areas<\/li>\n<li>Establish mechanisms of providing regular weekly\/monthly feedback on statistics and health activities to Clinic Staff<\/li>\n<li>Plan and implement thematic capacity building or specific trainings according to the identified needs for MC staff and\/or OTP staff<\/li>\n<li>Participate in establishing\/improving referral system<\/li>\n<li>Supervise drugs stock management in mobile clinics and OTP<\/li>\n<li>Work in close collaboration with the MDM medical trainers to ensure comprehensive on-the-job training for each of the specialities: SRH, PHC, EPI, Nutrition, LAB,<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and support the implementation of best practices introduced by trainers and HPC<\/li>\n<li>Operational Management of Clinic team<\/li>\n<li>Act as focal point for liaison with community leaders and representatives in clinic area of operation<\/li>\n<li>Lead on coordination with other actors, including UN, INGO and GoN, in clinic area of operation<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular, timely updates to Health Coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Organize the weekly schedule of the Clinic team to ensure the smooth running of the activities<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Clinic medical and paramedics staff respect their assigned tasks<\/li>\n<li>Provide strong leadership to ensure Clinic staff understand and work according to MdM principles<\/li>\n<li>Collection and analysis of health &amp; pharmaceutical data<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the implementation of data collection protocols, working closely with the database officer and HPC<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate collection of MC\/OTP data<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the drugs consumption by establishing\/maintaining mechanisms of consumption record and inform the Health Program Coordinator and Pharmacist in case of any unusual consumption, or stock shortages<\/li>\n<li>Identify and rectify gaps or weaknesses in medical activities by using monitoring and supervision tools<\/li>\n<li>Ensure rapid communication of suspect communicable disease to HPC<\/li>\n<li>Developing coherent project implementation strategy<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparing and implementing operational action plan for MC and\/or OT component in collaboration with MdM coordination team<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the implementation of the project activities in collaboration with MdM coordination team<\/li>\n<li>Assist MdM Health Coordinator and MdM medical coordinator in preparing data collection tools as well as medical and paramedics protocols<\/li>\n<li>Reporting and attendance to different meetings<\/li>\n<li>Prepare a weekly activity report to submit to the Health Program Coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Compile epidemiological reports for inclusion in medical reports or any other relevant reports<\/li>\n<li>Support the pharmacist to compile drug consumption report per month<\/li>\n<li>Participate in a pro-active way to MdM internal meetings (medical, security\u2026)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Others:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish good relationship with the different stakeholders in order to have a smooth implementation of MdM project<\/li>\n<li>Be flexible in performing his\/her duties to ensure that beneficiaries are getting good quality services<\/li>\n<li>Inform immediately the security focal point in case of any security problem in the field<\/li>\n<li>Perform other additional duties on request of the Health Program Coordinator and coordination team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Profile Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical Doctor<\/li>\n<li>Experience in similar position (management) for at least 3years<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge in nutrition<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of pharmacy<\/li>\n<li>Capacities in team management<\/li>\n<li>Strong sense of responsibilities and organization skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong work ethic and rigor<\/li>\n<li>Languages (spoken and written): English<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV with Cover Letter explaining why you consider yourself suitable for this position and providing a valid email and telephone contact via email to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment.nigeria@medecinsdumonde.net\"><strong>recruitment.nigeria@medecinsdumonde.net<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>17th June, 2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure to place &#8220;Medical Supervisor&#8221;
