We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Cross<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>River<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ideal candidate would be responsible for tracking and handling our receivables across locations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Functions of the Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the entire depot impress accounts including request for reimbursement, disbursement and recording of transactions;<\/li>\n<li>Manage all trade payable invoices for payment to vendors on due dates;<\/li>\n<li>Carry out pre-audits of all vouchers, invoices and financial request to ensure accuracy and appropriateness prior to obtaining final approval, payment and disbursement of cheques.<\/li>\n<li>Assists with providing support and documentation on internal processes;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and participate in budget development and forecast preparation, monitor Depot budgets and review variance between actual and budget and report to the HOF;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare for and participate in annual statutory audit exercise of the company;<\/li>\n<li>Set up and maintain fixed assets register, comply with laid down process and procedures and maintain a proper fixed asset register for the entire terminal.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and present a daily, weekly and monthly financial reports to the Head of Finance as may be requested;<\/li>\n<li>Carry out other assignments as may be required from time to time by Head of Finance;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree in Accounting or related fields from a reputable university\/polytechnic.<\/li>\n<li>Additional qualification will be added advantage<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years\u2019 experience in financial accounting<\/li>\n<li>High degree of accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to work weekends and overtime<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good working knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles; practices, accounts payable and receivable management, financial management and financial reporting;<\/li>\n<li>Proven working experience as a Head of Finance;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in preparing accurate and thorough Financial Reports and related schedule in line with established deadlines;<\/li>\n<li>Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end\/year end close process<\/li>\n<li>Effective oral and written communications, interpersonal and planning skills;<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of computer applications and Microsoft Office \u2013 Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point and Financial Application;<\/li>\n<li>Good organizational skill and ability to manage documentations and make past and future documentations accessible;<\/li>\n<li>Strong management skills with a demonstrated ability to take initiative;<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, processes and procedures necessary to produce deliverables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@whitesoulgroup.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>recruitment@whitesoulgroup.org<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the job title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>30th June, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>White Soul Motors Limited, incorporated in 1996 is a leading importer, distributor and marketer of various brands of brand new and very clean foreign used vehicles.
