We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: IT Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ogun<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The IT Officer will be responsible for resolving technical issues faced by users\/employees, and will be one who is well vast and experienced in resolving issues of software and hardware &#8211; networking, systems administration and the maintenance of computer systems and on CCTV cameras\/biometric machines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing leadership and serving as coach and mentor to team members<\/li>\n<li>Server management and data base administration<\/li>\n<li>Installing and configuring computer hardware, software (Oracle), systems, networks, printers, scanners and other office technology\/IT equipment<\/li>\n<li>Installation and maintenance of CCTV cameras across the factory premises<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks<\/li>\n<li>Proactively anticipating technical issues and mitigating them<\/li>\n<li>Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests<\/li>\n<li>Providing technical support across the company (physically and\/or remotely)<\/li>\n<li>Setting up accounts for new users<\/li>\n<li>Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc \/ HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 &#8211; 5 years&#8217; related experience, preferably in the FMCG \/ Manufacturing industry.<\/li>\n<li>Experience for server management and database administration.<\/li>\n<li>Qualified IT professional with relevant certification.<\/li>\n<li>A technical, logical thought process<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>An ability to stick to strict deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>An ability to prioritize tasks.<\/li>\n<li>A keen eye for detail.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience in networking, Oracle ERP, systems administration and in the installation and maintenance of CCTV cameras\/biometric machines is very essential for this position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should kindly send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:cv@ascentech.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cv@ascentech.com.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>30th June, 2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ascentech Services Limited is a full-fledged Human Resource Solution Provider incorporated in 2013 with its Head Office in Lagos, Nigeria.
