{"id":149484,"date":"2021-06-29T08:50:27","date_gmt":"2021-06-29T07:50:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=149484"},"modified":"2021-06-28T13:13:41","modified_gmt":"2021-06-28T12:13:41","slug":"phillips-outsourcing-services-nigeria-limited-current-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/phillips-outsourcing-services-nigeria-limited-current-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Phillips Outsourcing Services Nigeria Limited Current Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Phillips Outsourcing Services Nigeria Limited &#8211; Our client, a leading player in the Oil &amp; Gas Engineering Industry is currently recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Material and Corrosion Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Industry:<\/strong> Oil &amp; Gas Engineering<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that all aspects of the disciplines scope of work on the projects (i.e., asset integrity assessment, and design of corrosion control systems, pipe internal corrosion monitoring\/control, etc.) are effectively and satisfactorily discharged.<\/li>\n<li>Perform vital discipline engineering design and analytical tasks (materials selection, corrosion assessments, etc.) utilizing specialized engineering software including E.C.E Norsok, Hydrocorr, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in and ensure the preparation of discipline deliverables including basis for design, selection\/specification\/evaluation of cathodic protection systems equipment (TRs, Anodes, isolating flanges, etc.) and other utility systems, MTOs, Data Sheets, Specification<\/li>\n<li>Liaising continuously with major material\/equipment suppliers regarding the latest developments in technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Definition of the anticorrosion strategy using CP\/ COATING \/ PAINTING \/ CHEMICAL TREATMENT\/ CRA (corrosion resistant alloy) to optimize quality and costs.<\/li>\n<li>Issuing of engineering corrosion philosophy document including pipeline and Topside equipment review. Interface with Equipment \/ Electrical\/ Instrumental engineering disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Transfer of the corrosion strategy to the discipline responsible of CP \/ Painting and Coating design.<\/li>\n<li>Design of the chemical treatment and CRA.<\/li>\n<li>Corrosion failure analysis upon Project\/ Assets request.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in (B. Eng\/ B. Tech or Equivalent) in Material &amp; Corrosion Engineering or Material &amp; Metallurgical Engineering and other related discipline engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 8 years\u2019 experience in engineering design in the Oil &amp; Gas Onshore\/Offshore industries. Possession of Higher qualification and\/ or more cognate experience in materials and corrosion engineering designs will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates in Nigeria Must be COREN registered, while applicants outside<\/li>\n<li>Nigeria must belong to professional bodies registerable with COREN<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>N750,000 &#8211;
