We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Operations Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of construction projects and operations.<\/li>\n<li>Work hand-in-hand with the project team to create a mutual understanding of the project strategy based on the requirement of the job.<\/li>\n<li>Design and execute construction strategies for various projects.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct in-depth reviews and analysis of all project or contract documents so as to be familiar with every detail and\/or requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Work with safety units in a bid to plan and manage safety programs for each project and make sure that all aspects of safety are reached.<\/li>\n<li>Help project managers and engineers in the arrangement and analysis of projects and scheduling of reports on projects.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee projects as they are being carried out to make sure that the work is done according to outlined specifications, and that they also conform with project timetable.<\/li>\n<li>Convey project needs from the project manager to the management of the firm. For example, in a case whereby extra funds are needed for the completion of a project, the project manager communicates the situation to the management of the company usually through the<\/li>\n<li>construction operations manager.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of the company\u2019s relationship with contractors in a bid to produce strategic partnership.<\/li>\n<li>Train and mentor employees in areas of project management and estimating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications \/ Technical \/ Professional Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Five (5) to Ten (10) years proven working experience in construction management<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods<\/li>\n<li>Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of all facets of the construction process<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with construction management software packages<\/li>\n<li>Ability to plan and see the \u201cbig picture\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Competent in conflict and crisis management<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time and project management skills<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Leadership Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analytical and Business Skills<\/li>\n<li>Multi-tasking and Leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Project Management<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Engineering and Building Industry<\/li>\n<li>Team Management<\/li>\n<li>Commercial Acumen and Orientation<\/li>\n<li>Deliver Innovation<\/li>\n<li>Drive<\/li>\n<li>Results-oriented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:hr@costarchem.com\">hr@costarchem.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Role as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>5th July, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Costarchem Nigeria is a subsidiary of costar USA.
