We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Surulere, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.<\/li>\n<li>Documents financial transactions by entering account information.<\/li>\n<li>Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.<\/li>\n<li>Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.<\/li>\n<li>Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.<\/li>\n<li>Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.<\/li>\n<li>Secures financial information by completing data base backups.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains financial security by following internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.<\/li>\n<li>Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.<\/li>\n<li>Accomplishes the result by performing the duty.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interested candidates must have an HND \/ B.Sc in Accounting or a professional certification that equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years Micro Finance Banking experience.<\/li>\n<li>He\/She must also have requisite training and experience in any of: Corporate Finance, Reporting Skills, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Reporting Research Results, Confidentiality, Time Management, Data Entry Management, General Math Skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:humanresources@gabsynpeyzs.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">humanresources@gabsynpeyzs.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>15th July, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gabsyn Peyzs was established in 2015 as a response to the rigid, lengthy, and difficult credit processes in this part of the world.
