We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: English and Literature Teacher<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja (FCT)<br \/>\n<strong>Sector:<\/strong> Education<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To plan, deliver, and monitor a coordinated program of high-quality academic tutoring, which is progressive and reflective of the needs of the learners.<\/li>\n<li>She\/he must support the aim of improving the academic success of all\u00a0Learners at Noble Hall Leadership Academy for Girls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students for whom they are responsible.<\/li>\n<li>Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations in one or more subjects such as English, Literature, or any other assigned subject.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate students&#8217; progress.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.<\/li>\n<li>Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students&#8217; varying needs and interests.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by school administrative regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare students for later grades by encouraging them to explore learning opportunities and to persevere with challenging tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Guide and counsel students with adjustment and\/or academic problems, or special academic interests.<\/li>\n<li>Instruct and monitor students in the use and care of equipment and materials, in order to prevent injuries and damage.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare for assigned classes, and show written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisors.<\/li>\n<li>Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations.<\/li>\n<li>Practice teaching by differentiation to ensure that all learners are catered to.<\/li>\n<li>Confer with parents or guardians, other teachers, counselors, and administrators in order to resolve students&#8217; behavioral and academic problems.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare objectives and outlines for courses of study, following curriculum guidelines or requirements of states and schools.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help.<\/li>\n<li>Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports on students and activities as required by administration.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and supervise class projects, field trips, visits by guest speakers, or other experiential activities, and guide students in learning from those activities.<\/li>\n<li>Administer standardized ability and achievement tests, and interpret results to determine students&#8217; strengths and areas of need.<\/li>\n<li>Attend staff meetings, and serve on committees as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree qualification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Resume to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:vacancy@noblehall.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>vacancy@noblehall.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>30th July, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Noble Hall Leadership Academy for Girls, is a school dedicated to educating the total person &#8211; intellectual, spiritually, socially, physically and emotionally.
