We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Descriptions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for an Accountant to perform daily accounting and administrative support to the company\u2019s finance department.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate will be responsible for full function accounting duties managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal database, reconciling invoices, and monthly reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform various account analyses and reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize accounting systems in capturing and maintaining information (creditors, debtors, payroll, assets) via billing system, spreadsheet, and presentation software<\/li>\n<li>Verify supporting documents for validity, accuracy, and completeness and capture the payments and\/or receipts on the accounting system<\/li>\n<li>Perform General Ledger reconciliations (including bank, suspense, and interdepartmental accounts)<\/li>\n<li>Upload and verify payment transactions (including; transfers, payroll transactions, etc.) correctly classified, and supported by appropriate source documentation<\/li>\n<li>Make supplier payments in accordance with instructions from Management and suppliers age analysis<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all Statutory returns are accurately submitted on due dates once they have been reconciled.<\/li>\n<li>Perform credit control functions and provide reports as required.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all statements of accounts, service charge apportionment, and power billings are prepared and issued monthly to customers.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and track all receivables due to the company<\/li>\n<li>File, store, retrieve and safeguard all accounting source and face value documents.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the issuing, recording, reconciliation, replenishment, safeguarding, and accounting of petty cash<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and set up accounting controls for the company<\/li>\n<li>Apply basic accounting knowledge and techniques to all areas of work, including routine costing and variance analysis<\/li>\n<li>Ensure implementation of departmental compliance to the company\u2019s established policies, procedures, and other external regulatory standards<\/li>\n<li>Provide clerical and general support to Finance Manager as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Three to five years accounting experience<\/li>\n<li>Must be analytical<\/li>\n<li>Advanced hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Works independently, exercises creativity, is attentive to detail and maintains a positive attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Willing and quick to learn new concepts<\/li>\n<li>Completes work assignments accurately and in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Maintains confidentiality of all financial and other information.<\/li>\n<li>Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and awareness of the application of relevant accounting standards.<\/li>\n<li>Must demonstrate the ability to meet \/exceed the accounting departments\u2019 KPIs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@willcoonline.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>careers@willcoonline.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>21st\u00a0July, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Willco Property Management is a leading property servicing company, providing service excellence in integrated facilities management, property management and maintenance solutions via our corporate divisions; WPM &amp; WMS.
