Professor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Benin, Edo<br \/>\n<strong>Faculty:<\/strong> Engineering<\/p>\n<p><strong>Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified and interested candidates are invited to apply in the Departments of Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering, Benson Idahosa University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Doctorate Degree (PhD) in any field of Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>At least a minimum of 10 years post qualification experience in teaching, research<br \/>\nand\/or professional experience in a University or comparable institution of higher<br \/>\nlearning or industry<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to initiate and develop research project<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability of postgraduate students at doctoral levels<\/li>\n<li>Substantial publications in reputable journals is required<\/li>\n<li>Experience in directing academic group research and discussions<\/li>\n<li>Experience in interdisciplinary group activities are essential.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in ability to initiate and manage local and international collaboration<\/li>\n<li>Registration with COREN is a must.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in English is essential<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of programming languages, knowledge and application of relevant software will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, communication, coaching and administrative skills<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability<\/li>\n<li>An aptitude for
