Our programs include fashion, lifestyle, modeling, documentary, designs, etc are transmitted on all our social media platforms. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Television Host<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning, researching and writing their own scripts before filming or broadcast.<\/li>\n<li>Acting as the host, introduce and interview guests and interact with the audience.<\/li>\n<li>Delivering information to the audience in a manner appropriate to the programme.<\/li>\n<li>Following detailed instructions from the production team in order to keep everything to plan whilst on air.<\/li>\n<li>Reading from auto-cues, learning a script or sometimes performing without formal preparation.<\/li>\n<li>Reacting quickly and positively to any problems or changes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as a research and production assistant, create concepts that will be interpreted into the content.<\/li>\n<li>Planning, researching and writing their own scripts before filming or broadcast.<\/li>\n<li>Acting as the host, introduce and interview guests and interact with the audience.<\/li>\n<li>Delivering information to the audience in a manner appropriate to the programme.<\/li>\n<li>Following detailed instructions from the production team in order to keep everything to plan whilst on air.<\/li>\n<li>Reading from auto-cues, learning a script or sometimes performing without formal preparation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Specific\u00a0Degree\u00a0Subjects\u00a0Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree \/ HND \/ MSc qualification with a minimum of 1 &#8211; 4 years work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Open to graduates of any discipline.<\/li>\n<li>OND \/ BSc in Mass Communication, Broadcast Journalism, Media &amp; Theater Arts would be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and\u00a0Qualities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to \u2018think on your feet and ad-lib or deviate from the script when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Research and interviewing skills.<\/li>\n<li>High levels of concentration and multi-tasking ability.<\/li>\n<li>Outgoing and confident, with a likeable personality.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Calmness under pressure and the ability to work to strict deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Good memory, for recalling facts, figures and scripts.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent command of English and a clear speaking voice.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well with others in the production team and participants in the programme.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable and natural in front of the camera and microphone.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to get on and connect with people, young and old, from a wide variety of backgrounds.<\/li>\n<li>Reacting quickly and positively to any problems or changes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel: can be a regular feature of the working day but mush depends on whether the programme is studio-based or not.<\/li>\n<li>Working hours: regular unsocial hours including evening, nights, weekends and public holidays.<\/li>\n<li>Location: exist mainly in towns or cities throughout the country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>N40,000 &#8211; N70,000 monthly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send a one-minute video of themselves presenting and\u00a0CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@africanfashion.tv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>info@africanfashion<\/strong><\/a><strong><a href=\"mailto:info@africanfashion.tv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">.tv<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>7th August, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>African Fashion Television is a privately owned independent multifaceted media organization and Africa&#8217;s first and leading fashion tv.
