{"id":150552,"date":"2021-07-22T10:10:37","date_gmt":"2021-07-22T09:10:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=150552"},"modified":"2021-07-23T12:03:13","modified_gmt":"2021-07-23T11:03:13","slug":"willers-solutions-limited-current-job-opportunity-apply-now-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/willers-solutions-limited-current-job-opportunity-apply-now-8.html","title":{"rendered":"Willers Solutions Limited Current Job Opportunity &#8211; Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Willers Solutions Limited &#8211; Our client, a reputable firm, is looking for a suitable and qualified candidate to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Fixed Income Trader<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for buying and selling securities for clients or institutions.<\/li>\n<li>He\/She performs market research, analyzes market conditions and works with clients to learn their financial goals.<\/li>\n<li>He\/She helps clients meet these goals by accurately identifying and purchasing the best fixed-income products for them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage daily trading to ensure timely execution of the orders and confirming that they are in compliance with regulatory policies<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update inventory records of fixed-income securities.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and leverage opportunities by developing innovative trading ideas and making entry into new markets.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a trading strategy that responds to trends in the current market<\/li>\n<li>Develop and monitor assessments on portfolio risk by collaborating with analysts and portfolio managers<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date on and monitor market trends, economic news and conditions in order to keep their clients informed about the direction of their investments.<\/li>\n<li>Must be knowledgeable of the banking industry and be aware of trends and other issues that could impact the investment portfolio or bank\u2019s funding strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Should have an in-depth knowledge of financial markets and be able to ascertain the value of one product when compared to other options.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an in-depth understanding of all fixed income investment products that are deemed suitable for financial institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain relationships with municipal dealers, fixed income salespeople and downstream bank clients. Assist senior trader in sourcing product for the sales team.<\/li>\n<li>Have daily discussions with fixed income dealers, salespeople and division customers regarding economy, fixed income strategies and the general banking environment.<\/li>\n<li>Provide research and fixed income ideas to salespeople on a daily basis as they work with their customers.<\/li>\n<li>Create accounting spreadsheets for quarterly bank reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Provide excellent customer service for both internal and external customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a First Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or any related field<\/li>\n<li>Two to four years\u2019 experience in Banking, Finance, Treasury Management Sales and\/or Service environment<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Account Analysis and Treasury Management Pricing required<\/li>\n<li>Should possess understanding of bond markets, the economy and interest rate correlations<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to evaluate securities and discern value in the market<\/li>\n<li>Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
