We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Shipping Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Apapa, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Industry:<\/strong> FMCG<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Track, check, prioritize and route orders.<\/li>\n<li>Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.<\/li>\n<li>Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment<\/li>\n<li>Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and lead subordinates (receiving clerks, order pickers etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Control budget of the shipping department<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes<\/li>\n<li>Resolve issues regarding shipped orders<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies<\/li>\n<li>Report to management on activities and issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Administration or any related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 4-5 years\u2019 experience in handling Shipping line in a manufacturing company or the Transportation and Logistics industry<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience in handling Shipping Line related work and issues. Shipping Release, Payment Reconcile, Getting the Refund of Deposit.
