We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Plant Logistics Officer (Weighbridge Operations)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Okpella, Edo<br \/>\n<strong>Ref No:<\/strong> OKPELLA-LOGISTICS-0001<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full time<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Logistics<br \/>\n<strong>Reports To:<\/strong> Head, Plant Logistics<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support for the implementation of DCP\u2019s logistics policies and processes by participating in planning\/ coordinating movement of cement products and\/ or materials between the Plant and approved areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the plant weighbridge to measure and track accurate measurements for all incoming and outgoing vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain log of incoming and outgoing trucks from the Plant, with information including quantity of products, arrival\/ departure time, name of driver, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in receipt of inbound materials e.g. Gypsum, fuels.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in outbound materials planning and logistics coordination.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in hiring third party trucks.<\/li>\n<li>Initiate investigations to resolve issues of discrepancy in records of weights\/ quantity of products loaded or offloaded.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all plant logistics activities comply with DCP\u2019s Health, Safety, and Environment standards.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor performance of the weighbridge equipment and liaise with Maintenance team to perform routine maintenance (or rectify identified equipment faults).<\/li>\n<li>Develop and submit reports of logistics activities at the Plant and provide recommendations where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties assigned by the Head, Plant Logistics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Work Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree or its equivalent in Business, Logistics, or other related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two (2) years experience in logistics management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Behaviours:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislation relating to the cement manufacturing industry.<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of DCP\u2019s product and service offerings.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of inventory management terminologies, methodologies and approach<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of system based inventory management systems<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and quality<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to learn, improve and adapt to changing requirements<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of relevant supporting tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/apply.workable.com\/dangote\/j\/9A5B371BA0\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dangote Group is one of Nigeria\u2019s most diversified business conglomerates with a hard \u2013 earned reputation for excellent business practices and products\u2019 quality with its operational headquarters in the bustling&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[42],"tags":[454],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Dangote Group Available Job Opportunity - Apply Now!
