Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Deloitte Nigeria &#8211; Our client in the Financial sector is recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance Analyst<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are recruiting for a Finance Analyst who will work with the Chief Financial Officer to ensure effective and efficient implementation of finance processes, procedures and policies; including processing of financial transactions, financial analysis, financial reporting and treasury &amp; investments.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she will be responsible for providing high quality analysis of the Company\u2019s financial activities to ensure availability of critical information for decision making within the Company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe scope of work covers the following specific areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate finance policies and processes, updates and ensures withdrawal of outdated policies and processes.<\/li>\n<li>Collation feedback and evaluates information on financial control lapses from various sources.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out processing of all financial transactions of the Company in line with the relevant processes, procedures and policies.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare daily activity records and Company\u2019s financial position.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare accurate and timely journal entries in support of all financial transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Calculates and analyse trends in line with the Company\u2019s strategic objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares and evaluates financial projections &#8211; income statements, balance sheet, cash flow and key ratios.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare yield and cost reports of assets and liabilities compare to budget.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts financial and economic analyses of customers, projects and initiatives to assess profitability and performance.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing and maintaining budgeting and financial forecasting tools.<\/li>\n<li>Be abreast of the relevant tax laws and regulations; and ensure compliance but the Company.<\/li>\n<li>Remit the relevant taxes and file tax returns within the timeline stipulated in the tax laws.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the Company\u2019s activities are subjected to the appropriate tax.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s Degree or its equivalent in Finance, Accounts or any Social Management Sciences or Business-related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>A Post graduate or master\u2019s degree in a related field is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Membership of ICAN, CPA, ACCA, CFA, etc. is required<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years working experience in an Accounting or finance related function in a financial institution<\/li>\n<li>Financial services industry knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Accounting Standards and regulations (GAAP\/IFRS etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of financial control and analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of controls and risk Management.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of cash-flow and financial modelling.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of local and international economic and development issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/apply.workable.com\/human-capital-consulting-deloitte-and-touche-nigeria\/j\/5A1B56D9FF\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Deloitte Nigeria &#8211;
