We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head of Accounts and Finance<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Head of Accounts and Finance at Alert Microfinance Bank is responsible to assist the overall coordination, leading and supervision of all functions related to accounts, finance management and procedure, financial reporting, financial grant management and compliance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and forecast processes.<\/li>\n<li>Providing back office services such as accounts payable, collection and payroll.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring cash flow and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of day-to-day financial preparations.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining a strong framework of internal controls, accounting processes and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Presenting monthly results and reports to management as well as to relevant colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Providing insightful reporting and commercial analysis to support management decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Managing the cash-flow needs of the company while managing debt profiles and investments.<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out post investment and expenditure reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee general ledger, revenue recognition, accounts receivables &amp; payables, intercompany, treasury, taxation, and payroll.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that payments to vendors and salaries are processed.<\/li>\n<li>Controlling budgets and expenditure.<\/li>\n<li>Researching on factors influencing business performance.<\/li>\n<li>Managing relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, bankers, tax authorities and so on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Accounts and Finance related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of Cognate experience as Head of Accounts and Finance with proficient use of Bank one is a must.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in Management and proficient use of accounting software E.g Quickbooks, Peachtree, SAP.<\/li>\n<li>Chartered membership of a relevant professional association, e.g. ACA, ICAN, ACCA.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, especially Excel and Word.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates ability to identify problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure, independently and with limited supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to multi-task to meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Promotes team work, contributes towards building team consensus and acts as a team player.<\/li>\n<li>Consistently approach work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:hr@alertmfb.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hr@alertmfb.com.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>&#8220;Head of Accounts and Finance&#8221; as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>13th August, 2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Only qualified candidates will be shortlisted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alert Microfinance bank is a leading financial service provider with core mandate of providing affordable, flexible financial and non-financial services to SME&#8217;s and Corporate Organizations.
