\nplanning finances and production to maintain farm progress against budget parameters;
\nbuying supplies, such as livestock feed raw materials, fertiliser and seeds;
\narranging the maintenance and repair of farm buildings, machinery and equipment;
\nplanning activities for trainee staff, mentoring and monitoring them;
\nmaintaining and monitoring the quality of yield, whether livestock or crops;
\nunderstanding the implications of the weather and making contingency plans;
\nmaking sure that products are ready for deadlines;
\nensuring that farm activities comply with government regulations;
\nmonitoring animal health and welfare;
\nmaintaining a knowledge of pests and diseases and an understanding of how they spread and how to treat them;
\napplying health and safety standards across the farm estate;
\nmonitoring and documenting all yields and land use to meet funding requirements;
\nprotecting the environment and maintaining biodiversity;<\/p>\n
\nB. Sc or HND in Business Administrations, Animal Science, Agriculture or any related field
\n2-4 years experience working on a farm or any other agriculture or farming related business
\nGood interpersonal and communication skills
\nGood computer skills
\nLOCATION
\nThe farm is located in Sagamu Ogun State Nigeria. Only candidates living in or ready to re-locate to Ogun State should apply.<\/p>\n
