We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Project Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Mubi, Adamawa<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Status:\u00a0<\/strong>Full Time (Project)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Background:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Project Director will lead the design and implementation of the project and provide technical advisory on programming and financing model \/ mechanism that are appropriate to\u00a0support vulnerable beneficiaries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead on the delivery of the project design that is tailored to the Education program<\/li>\n<li>Ensures the highest possible quality of delivery<\/li>\n<li>Participate in all internal and external (coordination) meetings representing the project;<\/li>\n<li>Establish communication and coordination mechanisms with various stakeholders;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare inception reports, work plans, and regular donor progress and impact reports.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the achievement of outputs in line with the approved work plan.<\/li>\n<li>Oversight of overall program implementation progress; identification, resolution, and\/or escalation of issues;<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties as may be assigned by the\u00a0Administrator of Grants and Contracts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s Degree (or equivalent) preferably in Social Sciences with 5 years experience and or Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Social Sciences with a minimum of seven (7) years project management experience. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in development on Education projects.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing education projects preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Experience teaching in primary schools\/managing schools. HoD at primary school is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with SUBEB at state and LGA highly recommended.<\/li>\n<li>High-level skill in report writing is a requirement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Requirements, Abilities for the Position:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to use Microsoft Office applications with ease.<\/li>\n<li>Possess very good interpersonal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work efficiently under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to project a positive image of the university at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to run different projects and tasks simultaneously and efficiently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Description of Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience and job classification as per AUN salary scale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should submit their Resumes, Cover Letters and References on a single file to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@aun.edu.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recruitment@aun.edu.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0in a word document or PDF format.
