We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Port Harcourt, Rivers<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Objective(s):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with business heads to conduct organization structure reviews<\/li>\n<li>Drive manpower planning and resourcing in line with the Bank\u2019s strategic objectives<\/li>\n<li>Ensure recruitment and on-boarding are in line with the bank\u2019s policies, global best practice and regulatory requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure optimal staffing in assigned regions<\/li>\n<li>Drive leave plan completion, compliance and monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective career development, performance management, succession planning and seamless implementation of all<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely resolution of disciplinary cases in line with the Bank\u2019s policies<\/li>\n<li>Ensure consistency in the implementation of HR policies, processes and practice in assigned region<\/li>\n<li>Visit assigned business offices\/departments to monitor staff and facilitate effective internal communication between management and staff<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective resolution of conflict and employees complaints<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Education Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in any relevant Social Science Degree<\/li>\n<li>HR certification {CIPD, SHRM, CIPM}<\/li>\n<li>Masters Degree&#8217;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Previous Work Experience Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 &#8211; 10 years\u2019 work experience<\/li>\n<li>Cognate experience as a Human Resources Generalist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good Coaching and Counseling skills<\/li>\n<li>Rational, confident and mature approach to decision making<\/li>\n<li>Well-developed critical and analytical thinking<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills including negotiation and expectations management<\/li>\n<li>Effective listening skills<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong orientation towards customer support and responsiveness<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build teams and foster team spirit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of the Business<\/li>\n<li>Recruitment<\/li>\n<li>Strategic HR Management<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of HR processes<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of assigned business area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their updated CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@ubagroup.com\"><strong>careers@ubagroup.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<br \/>\nOr<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ubagroup.com\/about-uba\/careers\/recruitment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) is one of Africa&#8217;s leading financial institutions, with operations in 19 African countries and 3 global financial centres: London, Paris and New York.
