They are recruiting to fill the the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (FinTech \/ Cryptocurrency)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos (Remote)<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full-Time | Remote<br \/>\n<strong>Industry:<\/strong> Financial Services<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Are you an experienced CFO with insight into the world of Fintech? Passionate about crypto and the blockchain space?<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;re looking for an experienced finance executive to join our client\u2019s leadership team.<\/li>\n<li>We are looking for a business strategist with a financial planning &amp; analysis background as well as the ability to build and lead our finance and accounting teams.<\/li>\n<li>You will be working with a diverse team based in over a dozen countries.<\/li>\n<li>You will not only lead the standard execution of finance and accounting functions but serve as a key business partner to inform decision-making and strategy at the micro and macro levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advise the CEO<\/li>\n<li>Manage the company&#8217;s relationships with some of the world&#8217;s leading FinTech investors<\/li>\n<li>Continue to build out an internal and external finance and accounting team in Africa<\/li>\n<li>Improve and automate FP&amp;A processes, as well as KPI and financial performance reporting against company targets and goals<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the design of internal processes, systems and software to provide critical financial and operational information<\/li>\n<li>Manage liquidity in both fiat currency and cryptocurrencies<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the production of accurate financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Make sure all financial data adheres to current tax laws and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the primary interface with our external auditor<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a strong financial control environment in compliance with all state and federal requirements<\/li>\n<li>Challenge the status quo with ideas to drive internal efficiencies and growth in revenue based upon solid data analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The ideal candidate is someone who has:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of experience in a VP Finance or CFO role<\/li>\n<li>Experience with a venture-funded, high-growth technology startup<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in Africa<\/li>\n<li>Work experience or education in the United States and Africa<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of cryptocurrency<\/li>\n<li>Experience with transfer pricing<\/li>\n<li>Fundraising experience<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding financial acumen blended with business partnership and leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of financial performance and of being a strong business partner<\/li>\n<li>Exhibit outstanding critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze data, identify trends, pinpoint problems and root causes, ask probing questions and develop innovative solutions<\/li>\n<li>Passion and proven ability to cultivate top talent and lead diverse, cross-departmental teams<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience and leadership in managing a team of professionals to meet the strategic business needs<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with leaders to develop and execute plans.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communicator and change leader<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong><br \/>\nCompetitive plus equity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/blackpenrecruitment.zohorecruit.com\/jobs\/Careers\/566257000021967155\/CFO-FinTech-Cryptocurrency-?source=CareerSite\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Application Deadline: <\/b>Not Specified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Black Pen Recruitment &#8211; Our client is an American-based company.
