We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Credit Risk Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos Island, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out a risk assessment of all loan applications and recommend approval as applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Improve and embed a risk management culture within the Bank.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the Departmental head to send relevant reports to regulators i.e. CBN and others.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the Bank remains compliant in line with local regulations and internal policy requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct a risk profile exercise to ascertain the residual level of risk exposure in the Bank.<\/li>\n<li>Report all due repayments in the Bank\u2019s Risk Assets.<\/li>\n<li>Performs first level review and evaluation on all retail requests to ensure all recommendations are made in line with the Bank&#8217;s risk acceptance criteria for specific retail loan product<\/li>\n<li>Confirms that all retail credit requests presented by the business offices through the bank&#8217;s workflow platforms have all required data completed and supporting documents are attached for scrutiny for an informed lending decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts internal credit checks is done within the bank for any retail credit presented, while further providing due interpretation for the credit check reports to ascertain credit worthiness of the customer.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct detailed collateral analysis, paying due attention to collateral acceptability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Accounts, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years cognate experience as a Credit Risk Officer in a Microfinance Bank<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer relationship management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with little or no supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving, Critical reasoning, detail oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal, presentation and writing skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@alertmfb.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>hr@alertmfb.com.ng<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>&#8220;Credit Risk Officer&#8221; as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>21st September, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Only qualified candidates will be shortlisted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alert Microfinance bank is a leading financial service provider with core mandate of providing affordable, flexible financial and non-financial services to SME, Private and Public Sectors.
