We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Regional Category Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Ref No.:<\/strong> AT-287802<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Execution of category strategies that are aligned to Global Category strategies. Execution will include regional sourcing strategy execution, supplier negotiations, sourcing events and contract implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Manage regional supplier relationships, execute joint collaborative Innovative initiatives, and monitor supplier contract negotiations.<\/li>\n<li>Primary owner of the relationship with regional and local terminal stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate on strategies with Global Category Manager. Bring in Business and Regional Insights into Strategy. Work closely with fellow regional Category Managers.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for creating transparency to leverage our volumes across APMT, secure efficient demand management, share best practices and ensure minimum compliance standards.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage internal and external partnerships by demonstrating strong leadership, project management, analytical, and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Collect voice of customers in the regions and identify opportunities for regional cross-leverage in close alignment with global Asset Category Management and Technical team .<\/li>\n<li>Support Supply Chain Procurement initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Regional supplier development .<\/li>\n<li>Regional system and data integrity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>We are looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 years\u2019 or more experience in procurement.<\/li>\n<li>Strategic mindset, holistic picture, proactiveness and willingness to challenge status quo.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with ambiguity and navigate through regional cross-functional and cross-geographical complexities, with strong result orientation.<\/li>\n<li>You are a highly result-driven and solution-focused individual with the ability to manage a variety of tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to balance both short- and long-term orientation for the business.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of regional business challenges and supplier landscape.<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of terminal asset and operations.<\/li>\n<li>High-level understanding of Life Cycle Management categories and challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Strong project management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Solid analytical and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Supply-chain and ERP system know-how.<\/li>\n<li>Good legal and contracting knowledge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jobsearch.maersk.com\/jobposting\/index.html?id=AT-287802\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>3rd October, 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>APM Terminals is the global terminal operating arm of the A.P.
