We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: HSE Supervisor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref No:<\/strong> AT-288522<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Performance \/ Operational:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote the delivery of continuous improvement and constant drive towards incident free operations.<\/li>\n<li>Assist, support, and monitor the implementation of the HSE strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Influence colleagues and key stakeholders within the business to become effective HSE Leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Lead by example, assure conformance with business unit HSE policies &amp; procedures, and enforce safe working practices across the site.<\/li>\n<li>Take corrective action when defects are identified.<\/li>\n<li>Develop HSE improvement plans and report on performance improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Support and develop others at all levels in the business unit to perform their work in a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible way.<\/li>\n<li>Engage and motivate operational team..<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all contractor activities within the premises as well as daily operations are done in compliance with HSE regulations and in conformance with APMT PTW standards.<\/li>\n<li>Work cross-functionally to support HSE and Risk Management programs.<\/li>\n<li>Support with Incident Investigation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Contractor Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assure contractor\/vendor conformance with business unit HSE requirements and compliance with applicable legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Assure that all contractor activities within the premises as well as daily operations are done in compliance with HSE regulations and in conformance with APMT HSE standards.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with staff, contractors, vendors and other divisions within company to ensure that compliance is achieved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Training &amp; Coaching:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the development and delivery of HSE on-the-job training.<\/li>\n<li>Promote the HSE culture through proactive monitoring and assessment of the HSE competence plan.<\/li>\n<li>Drive the HSE culture by recognizing core HSE values across the business.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and improve your own Health, Safety and Environment competencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>We are looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HSE Qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Technical member of IOSH.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years experience in HSE\/Terminal operation with a proven track record in the delivery of business objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills with the ability to communicate across the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge of APM Terminals Operational Practices.<\/li>\n<li>Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills and strong influencing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to provide leadership, obtain cooperation, and assistance to meet objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English<\/li>\n<li>Excellent use of Microsoft Office Applications.<\/li>\n<li>Must hold a valid Driver&#8217;s license with driving experience (manual).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We Offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>APM Terminals offers tremendous growth, career and leadership opportunities for those with the ambition, drive and dedication to become one of the best.<\/li>\n<li>An opportunity to be part of a high performance team that ensures APM Terminals is the most efficient, safe and profitable terminals in the region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jobsearch.maersk.com\/jobposting\/index.html?id=AT-288522\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>26th September, 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>APM Terminals is the global terminal operating arm of the A.P.
