We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Public Relations Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja (FCT)<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> New Media<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for a Public Relations (PR) Officer to organize and manage all PR activities and ensure effective communication within stakeholders, media and the public for the organization.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will be responsible for handling all aspects of planned publicity campaigns with the media (Newspaper, TV, Social Media, Influencers, etc.) and other PR activities.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will build and maintain a positive image for the company, establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, media and public interest groups by developing media communications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and manage all PR campaigns and media relations strategies<\/li>\n<li>Develop press releases and other media communications for the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal teams such as growth, new media and designers to create promotional content.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, edit, update and share promotional material and publications (brochures, newspapers, videos, social media posts etc.) for internal and external audience.<\/li>\n<li>Organize PR events such as exhibitions, conferences, tours, visits, etc. to promote the organization and serve as the organisation\u2019s spokesperson.<\/li>\n<li>Market the company through partnerships, sponsorships and advertising opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Address inquiries from the media, track media coverage and follow up with industry trends.<\/li>\n<li>Write and produce presentations, reports, articles, brochures, etc. for both external and internal distribution.<\/li>\n<li>Manage all PR related issues.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit PR reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educational background in Media, Communications or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 4 years&#8217; experience as a Public Relations Officer &#8211; Required<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast and print) &#8211; Required<\/li>\n<li>Strong Content Development and Writing Skill &#8211; Required<\/li>\n<li>Strong Content Creation Skill &#8211; Required<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in running PR campaigns that delivered measurable results and met objectives &#8211; Required<\/li>\n<li>Strong Communicational Skill ( Verbal and Written) &#8211; Required<\/li>\n<li>Social Media Management Skill and solid experience working with influencers, bloggers, etc. &#8211; Required<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office and writing software &#8211; Required<\/li>\n<li>Background in researching and editing publications &#8211; Added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Organization Skill<\/li>\n<li>Project and budget management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with cross &#8211; functional teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should submit their Updated CV as a PDF file to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitments@istrategytech.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recruitments@istrategytech.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using &#8220;Public Relations Officer &#8211; Abuja&#8221; as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>27th September, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Infostrategy Technology Limited is an Information, Communication and Software Technology firm incorporated in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
