We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Team Member, Transaction Monitoring<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Objective:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To carry out ongoing monitoring of accounts in line with extant regulations and internal policy to identify and report suspicious transactions to the requisite statutory authorities.<\/li>\n<li>To manage and support the bank\u2019s Compliance Risk Management strategy in ensuring that the Bank\u2019s AML and Counter Financing of Terrorism\u2019s effort are in line with the Group standards and international best practice.<\/li>\n<li>To carry out enhanced due diligence reviews to prevent the Bank from being exposed to the risk of sanctions and associated financial\/reputational loss that the Group may incur as a result of failure to comply with regulations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure capacity building of staff to improve Compliance culture in the bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use of Actimize for Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM)<\/li>\n<li>Sanctions Screening Compliance<\/li>\n<li>Money Remittance (Western Union &amp; MoneyGram) Transactions Monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Compliance Investigations, Reporting and Returns Rendition<\/li>\n<li>Response to Request for Information (RFI) from Correspondent Banks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Candidate&#8217;s Profile:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years&#8217; experience in Operations, Internal Control or Audit &amp; Compliance, External Auditing and Risk Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong Analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Good investigative skills<\/li>\n<li>Report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of the computer and basic applications like excel, power point etc<\/li>\n<li>Critical thinking and problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal and Communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extensive knowledge of the bank\u2019s policies &amp; procedures<\/li>\n<li>Deep understanding of the Bank\u2019s Products, Services and Processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jointhetribe.ubagroup.com\/apply?title=Team+Member%2C+Transaction+Monitoring&amp;id=93\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>30th September, 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) is one of Africa&#8217;s leading financial institutions, with operations in 19 African countries and 3 global financial centres: London, Paris and New York.
