We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Laboratory Technician &#8211; Packaging<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Onitsha, Anambra<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overall Purpose of the Function:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An opportunity exists for a highly skilled and result driven Laboratory Technician &#8211; Packaging in our Plant located in South-East Nigeria reporting to the QC Specialist.<\/li>\n<li>The successful incumbent would carry out sampling, sample preparation and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and packaged product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Roles and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe and healthy environment<\/li>\n<li>Prepare samples and conduct sample analyses<\/li>\n<li>Request for chemicals \/reagents and other working tools from Specialists<\/li>\n<li>Ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated according to manualized methods.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out specialized and highly specialized quality analyses for which the shift-based teams are not responsible<\/li>\n<li>Record the results of analyses on appropriate information systems and communicate results where required<\/li>\n<li>Conduct analysis of results to identify problems and improvement opportunities timeously<\/li>\n<li>Assist the shift-based teams in the execution of quality analysis, where required<\/li>\n<li>Conduct calibration of specialist equipment for which the labs are responsible and provide calibration assistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of B.Sc \/ HND in Biological Sciences \/ Microbiology or related field<\/li>\n<li>1-2 years\u2019 experience as a Laboratory Technician<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of micro laboratory systems, processes and analyses<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the application of problem-solving techniques and statistics<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of HACCP, GMP standards and CIP requirements PC literacy Good all-round knowledge of AB InBev manufacturing processes and philosophies<\/li>\n<li>Proven knowledge and experience in integrating and facilitating a multidisciplinary group of skills, specialists, and functions<\/li>\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good auditing skills Information systems knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Analytical ability<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills (verbal and written)<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving ability to work in teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.smartrecruiters.com\/ABInBev1\/743999775507420-laboratory-technician-packaging\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>5th October, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AB InBev is an equal opportunity employer and all appointments will be made in-line with AB InBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
